Thanks for joining us! Life took some unexpected turns over the last few years and we decided to forge a new path instead of curling up in a corner.
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

Our second adventure with Desi was north. I had never been, my sister Sue had. A 4 hour trip north so we decided to go west first to avoid the interstate close to Chicago. We arrived at the KOA, got into our pull-through site and got set up in waayy less time than our first trip. ( we didn’t have to read the instruction manual this time). Still had issues lighting the water heater, as in it wouldn’t light. We even had the wonderful KOA “expert” try. Much to our surprise, he couldn’t get it to light either. So off to sightseeing – we’ll deal with hot water when we got back.
